The month of August was great. We loved going to Oregon and visiting with everyone. What wonderful memories we all made! Since we have been back we have enjoyed the last weeks of summer by reading books, hanging out with friends, sleeping in, staying up late watching movies and going to the state fair. Megan and Marissa started on their new soccer teams. Marissa has won her first 2 games and Megan has won 2 of 3 games. She is enjoying getting to know new girls on her 9th grade soccer team. We had fun at the state fair eating and playing. Our favorite treats were the chocolate covered bananas, chocolate covered strawberries, bacon on a stick and lemonade. Today was David's 5th birthday. Amber made a couple great cakes for him (Harry Potter themed and Spiderman). The kids are not quite ready for school to start, but they only have a day left of vacation.
